Ben Millard
Ben received his law degree from the University of Ottawa Law School where he graduated magna cum laude. Prior to law school Ben obtained a BA in International Relations from the University of British Columbia.
Ben began working with Beth Symes and Carol Street in 2006. His practice focuses primarily on labour and employment law, human rights and professional regulation. He has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario and federally as well as numerous administrative tribunals. In October 2011, he appeared and made oral submissions before the Supreme Court of Canada in Saskatchewan Human Rights Commission v. Whatcott, a groundbreaking case regarding the constitutionality of hate speech provisions in human rights laws.
Ben is a member of the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers and the Ontario Bar Association.
